SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed with regard to the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out website to your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area each day. The services issue designed for intervention encounters a high inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to empower the servicing of all clients and raise access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
