SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed concerning the high range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The support point established for intervention encounters a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tough for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to permit the servicing of all prospects and raise access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
